3 ★ I’ve used Aldiko for the last few years and generally it has been great. I have found a few ebooks which are not compatible format wise and used other apps when necessary, but generally came back to Aldiko because of its ease of use. However its biggest failing & reason for 3 rather than more stars is the inability to do a multiple delete. Once you start accumulating many books ( I am now in the 300-400 area), sometimes you need to spring clean, wipe a few and start again. Aldiko has no multiple delete function. Even if you delete books from the device, it retains the metadata, so there is no easy way to actually get rid of duplicates or unwanted books in bulk.

4 ★ I’ll be amending my rating. The app is working fine. I was able to figure out the issue and was able to download the book. Hope everything runs smooth from hereon. Ty

1 ★ When I was downloading it, it took more than an hour even my Internet was and is still on average quality. And when it was downloaded, it gave me more problems whenever I opened a book there was nothing on the pages but just the number of page l was very angry to see that. And problems and tensions weren’t finished here for me. There were too many ads and it took much time for loading so that’s why l deleted this app. I think there’s a technical issue in this app. From Noor Fatima Cheema

1 ★ Was good until went dark , no good if cant see book Why when you press for light it goes to night mode Then press again and goes fade So no answer . So I suppose must pay for app

4 ★ 3 for now, it is my first day, and everything was going great, but i encountered an issue, whenever i change the viewing mode of my phone (like landscape to portrait and voce versa) it will take the book to title page, resulting in loss of progress. Other it is looking good. Please look into it. Edit: it only happens with books not added in library.

1 ★ Very disappointing. Used for many years without problems. Bought some new ebooks yesterday and its been a struggle to import. All my previous books open without issue. One of the 10 i bought downloaded but doesn’t open. Keeps on asking for drm account over and over. Device is authorized. App updated. The other 9 doesn’t download at all — import failed e_adept_no_token.

2 ★ Needs to be updated to the latest version of Android. The app closes when I try to add new books. Disappointed to pay for an app I can’t use after my phone updated

2 ★ uninstallled the app after using for a bit of time. reason? some pdf files have empty pages for unknown reason. but using different reading app shows just fine. it made me look for a different source thinking that the file is corrupted when in fact it was actually the app itself had problem. i don’t know what’s happening

1 ★ I’ve used this App for years. Everything was fine until the new update! I can’t read my books anymore: The Covers aren’t visible anymore, but the books are on my shelf. If I click on them, «error» appears. Please fix it!

4 ★ I gave it a 4 star because it was a hassle for me to read the pdfs and epubs in different apps. Having different books in different apps made it very messy for me. I wish it had pdf and other reader facilities too. Otherwise, as a epub reader it’s very good

5 ★ This is a good app. I have been using it for some years to read my books. I even installed this app in my new device to enable me read DRM protected files and it worked. I haven’t encountered any problems with it. Thank you for this app.

4 ★ I have been using this app for a very loooooong time and I wanted to give five stars, but I think Aldiko should have an e-paper mode. PLEASE HAVE AN E-PAPER MODE. Also, different book sizes in shelf view is a bit annoying.
