Я настолько древний, что помню времена, когда «послушать музыку на телефоне» звучало так же нелепо, как «постирать вещи в холодильнике» или «погладить рубашку чайником», а флешка 128 мегабайт вызывала восторг и казалась технологическим чудом. Современный смартфон – это полноценный компьютер в кармане. Многие модели в линейке ведущих производителей уже позволяют не просто слушать музыку из социальных сетей или загруженные в них mp3-файлы, но и воспроизводят форматы высокого студийного разрешения: Wav, Flac, DSD. Сейчас у меня флагман Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (до этого был Sony Xperia XZ Premium, а ещё раньше Xperia C5 Dual). Xperia XZ подключал к xDuoo xd-05 коротким OTG кабелем Type-C – USB-A. С Note 9 использую переходник Type-C – USB-A, который шёл в комплекте к смартфону. Переходник — самый удобный вариант подключения, так как я теперь подключаю смартфон к любому внешнему ЦАП не стрёмной коротышкой, а длинными высококачественными кабелями на USB-B или USB-A, в зависимости от устройства. При подключении смартфона к внешней звуковой карте по USB системные звуки, музыка из социальных сетей и YouTube не воспроизводятся, работает только вывод музыки через специальные аудио плееры, которым посвящён этот обзор. Все перечисленные плееры могут воспроизводить музыку на смартфоне без внешнего аудио устройства, а при его подключении автоматически цепляют внешний ЦАП и передают на него цифровой аудио сигнал в обход встроенного в смартфон железа. То есть, внутренний аудио чип в смартфоне на качество звука не влияет, и вообще никак не задействован в этом процессе.

Connecting a USB DAC

You can use any Android device, given that it runs Android 3.1 or higher, has USB host support and support for isochronous USB transfers in the kernel. You connect the Android device to the DAC using a USB OTG cable to trigger USB host mode, like displayed in the picture, here showing a Nexus 5 connected to a JDS Labs C5D.
